Working From Home

Like many others doing business during this lockdown it has been a time to reflect, take stock and to consider how we can do things better or differently.  TA staff have managed to keep the wheels turning during the past months and the only real problem we have seen is the lack of face to face human contact.  Howard and Kim have kept a smooth running engine in the administration and management department.  Lamen and Belena have successfully maintained contact with all their clients via phone or zoom at ground level.  We are very proud of our collective efforts to do what seemed impossible in February.

Week by week there have been many stories of comradery support from the clients within Transform, to personal growth and development and an inner strength that they didn’t know they possessed.  To see this kind of growth in our people in such a short space of time and under these circumstances has been encouraging and a pleasure to watch.

Our excitement is building as to when we can open our doors again and continue to offer the wonderful services to the Putaruru community that we have done over the past 5 years.  For now we will continue as we are until government regulations permit us to have gatherings large enough to resume our programmes.    Hopefully sooner than later.  In the mean time we continue to encourage everyone to take care and keep safe.
