It is super exciting when our people have grown so much that they get recognised and invited to speak about their journey outside of Putaruru.  From small beginnings to an opportunity of a lifetime. 

For one of our men this has been his story.  From gangs, drugs, jail, losing his kids, a life of crime is a journey most would not wish to wander, to now having a life of victory and walking in the light with fabulous opportunities opening before him.

He had the opportunity to speak in Tauranga recently and as a result has been asked to share his story in a recording studio for Word of Life / Origin which is a main youth event that travels the nation.  They want to showcase his story at these events on the big screen of how a life can be turned around once they realise there is a purpose and plan for their life that is good and that there is a “Father God” who has a destiny prepared for them that only they can fulfil.

 This is what Transform Aotearoa is all about, seeing people transform so much that they break free of the crust that suffocates them and their potential, to positively impacting others’ lives.  We are so excited for this young man as it has been a privilege to witness his transformation first-hand.  He said a goal was to share his story around the country and now it will be a reality and he won’t even have to leave home.
